Hi Guys Johan has been a good friend of mine for about 6 years now we have met twice over here...His car is the Norfolf Mustard beast that has hit 210mph and runs laughing Gas Nitrose Oxide and propane Gas to produce over 700bhp so you might say he knows what he's doing...

He had my ECU to remove the stock Chips 2 of them and replace with chip seats so that different chips can be used as required...he then fitted his own chips in my unit which are his version of several ECU profiles & the Race Red USA only ECU etc....to say is its good is a very big undersatement its fantastic all V8's should be like my car runs now....wow.

Note you get your stock Chips back as well to re-use.....

My Cars passed the MOT with even lower Immissions than noraml with Johan's chips in place

The Gear box Clitches are removed hence you need to have some common sense setting off in 1st with a stock Gearbox..my car will be getting a Derek Bell Mk 2 version when my leg is OK.

Costs if 5 members send there units to him in block he will do each one for $350 each note its Dollors not pounds so cheap..plus postage which was around

Wonder how this one compares to the one Markus at PUK offers. I was looking into this (see ECU upgrade thread) - response suggested get a chip based on the S350 - ie. torque restrictions removed and a touch more power.

Any idea how the chips from Johan and Markus compare?... except Johan's being a good deal cheaper!!

I think Johan himself know the answer, though whether he will comment or not, I do not know.

Larry Marsala also knows a good deal about the effects of these chips and may chime in here. I hope that either of these two or Marcus will provide some insight as to the differences if any between their products.

I have Marcus' Red Race chipset myself and Johan was kind enough to repair my ECU after someone with less than stellar skills soldered the chip mounts in poorly.

Mike Fridmann has Johan's chipset in his car. Maybe we can swap ECUs and check on both Dyno and with G-tech for differences in performace.
