kinda,

I spoke to the chap (nick) and the original one advertised was claimed by the original purchaser/non collector.

However, Nick was very kind and pointed me towards an original chassis raced by the Hassard Team. It was collected at the weekend and moving into the 'sand blast shed' this evening.

I had about 5ft hanging out the back of a Bedford van tied up with twine and hope!

I am off to the old thread to update as we speak.

He is indeed, very helpful reasonable and knowledgeable.

Now I just gotta work out what else im missing.........................................................................

................................................................................

.

................................................................................

.

...........................................................................the list goes on! I wonder if a donor is the easiest way rather than random sourcing, the concept was pay as I go so that I could spread the cost, however, sometimes its easier to work from a precedent.

Ho Hum christmas coming up to catch up on jobs!

DONOR CAR PROBBALY IS THE BEST WAY ALTHOUGH DEPENDS HOW CHEAP YOU GET IT! AT LEAST IF YOU BUY A COMPLETE BASKET CASE EVERTHING WILL

BE THERE IE BODY CHASSIS , ENGINE , WHAT YOU DONT USE DURING THE

PROJECT YOU CAN ALWAYS SELL IE THE INTERIOR, THE GLASS,WINDSCREENS FETCH GOOD MONEY, IT DEPENDS HOW MUCH YOUR PROJECT BUDGET IS!

BUYING COMPLETE WILL WORK OUT A LOT CHEAPER! BUT EMPTYS YOUR WALLET QUICKY! BUYING IN BITS LEAVES MONEY IN YOUR WALLET BUT COSTS YOU MORE IN THE LONG RUN AND YOU GET SHOCKS WHEN YOU BUY SECOND HAND STUFF THAT COSTS A LOT! NICK WAS SELLING A FRONT END YOU COULD OF BOUGHT THAT, IT REALLY DEPENDS ON WHERE YOUR PROJECT IS HEADING DESIGNWISE! SOMEBODY ON THE FORUM MENTIONED A GT40 STYLE SETUP I THINK IT A GOOD IDEA, IT ALSO GIVES YOU THE OPTION OF BUYING BITS OF ESPRIT { DAMAGED SECTIONS} WHICH WILL BE FAIRLY CHEAP!

KEEP US ALL POSTED ON THE PROJECT!

REGARDS DAN
