Thanks Buddsy, I only drove her back into the garage because I didn't think the interior would photograph very well in the sunlight. Too much contrast. She's been standing since last November so I guarantee she will be getting some miles. Driven approx 150 since completing the service work.

Today is my birthday , so the wife and I will be going out to dinner in her tonight.

What a contrast it makes to the rest of the traffic!! A jewel among dross......! Well done; that's a mighty lot of work in 5 days; you'll need you Day of Rest after that lot!

On the list above of the service work completed I made a mistake on the cam pulley timing. The cam timing is 110 degrees for Euro Spec not 100 degrees. It is correct on the car. Timing is set to the red markings which is 110 degrees.

Woo-hoo, what a fun trip that was!

South Dakota has some great roads that beg for more Lotus cars! :)

Here are a few shots of Gavin's awesome S1 and some of the work we did. I was never too crazy about yellow on an S1, but this one made me a bit jealous!

Thanks for posting the photos Tony. Looks good after all our hard work and long long hours in the garage. Big time man therapy :respect: .

And yes the Black Hills of South Dakota has some fantastic driving roads, so all you U.S. Esprit owners need to take a trip out here. Visit Mount Rushmore while your here. Just don't come during the 1st week of August as 500,000 people come to the area for the Sturgis Motorcycle rally.
