My flight arrives at LHR at 10:30am on Saturday, plus time in customs or immigration, what time do expect to be driving by the airport? I can try to arrive on Friday instead if you are leaving earlier.

Saturday is fine. I reckon on about an hour for customs and immigration so I would plan to get to the pick up point at around 11.30 if the flight is on time. I will check that before I leave. I can pm you my mobile number if your are going to be early/late.

Am planning to stop on the way up for some lunch and fuel.

Forgot to ask where your hotel is. Are you staying at the one where the evening 'do' is?? If not then I have got sat nav so let me know the postcode of the hotel.
