Anyone have experience regarding the cost of getting this sort of damage fixed? I'm guessing it's a big job if done right?

hmm... so this is Paul's way of telling us he's looking to upgrade to a V8! :D

As for the issue, afraid I can't offer any help...

is the marker light damaged at all? it's difficult for me to tell just what's going on. Is it just a crack then, or is there more to it? I'd repaired similar looking cracks in fiberglass all over the Corvette that continues to be an on and off project between my dad and I, but can offer no real insight on the Esprit end of things, never having dealt with V8 bumper removal or having seen what's behind that damage...

Sounds like this may make or break a deal for someone :(

I have just had a new bumper on my S4 I had a bigger crack than the one in the picture and the bumper had a slight buckle in it futher along, with some minor scuff damage to the wing and the spoiler as well, my body shop, Paul Matty's UK had to cut of the old bumper because it was such a pig to remove.

parts were a bumper and some mounting plates biggest cost was three days labour inculding the painting.

whole job cost me just under

even with the buckle, there was no need for a new bumper. either they didn't have the knowledge to repair it, or they wanted to make more work for themselves to up the bill.

Paul, I have had good results repairing fascias with a 2 part product made by Dynatron.

The fascia could be repaired in situe as long as the rebar behind it didnt deform completely in the impact.

I would charge about $600 cdn in my shop to repair and paint the fascia. :(

It looks like it needs a new lense for the turn signal as well(not inc. in quote) :(

Thanks all! I'm going to take a look at the car on Monday (haven't seen it in person yet) and I'll post some pictures and a better description of the damage then.

Cheers!
