Folombray 26-10

Hi all,

Last weekend I joined the LoT guys in Folombray where my local dealer was also running his new 2-11. He had offered me a pax ride so i could get an idea of the capabilities of the car. Scotty C was there as well an he also offered me a pax ride because my dealers car is not yet run in propperly.

Oh my god..................what a car!! The performance is just stunning. My eyes popped out of my head when they hit the brakes and the roadholding and acceleration ist just .... i'm speachless.

ME WANT ONE !!

Now, the only thing i need to do is to convince the wife i really don't need a roof an a windscreen...

Good to meet you and take you out, was a great track, think i could drive the back straight chicane over and over again and still not get bored. Still never got it over the 100 on exit.

I had a great trip, Oulton in the snow yeaterday was interesting.

As you should be too. But what about a Type 25 with yellow wheels?

A sort of yellowy brake dusty type effect on the wheels you mean?

Ha - the unlucky owner would so live to regret that decision if they actually used the car not just gazed at it!

Scott, thanks for the link to the pics. Must admit that i look as i don't know whats happening to me...

Jo, scott is right when he mentioned that i love your colourscheme. the point is that 3745 euro to get the launch colourscheme and stripping is a bit hard cash for something i don't like that much. So a one colour scheme is the outcome. I like more dark colours but on the other hand some bright colour on the car is not to bad on the road. Be seen is a good idea especially with a low and fast car.

I like the racing green colour and that with some yellow stripping is ofcourse a nice thing.

I could do a two stripe like the elise type 25. Still thinking about it...

Jo is it correct that you had to pay a fee for that colourscheme to classic Lotus team ??
