"Just the right" colour finaly

I have been looking for about 4 months for "just the right" colour. Visiting car dealers, getting whip lash as I see a possible colour on a passing car, driving my local paint supplier mad by looking through piles of colour chips and searching the internet for something that might "just be right"!

Well today the 2nd of March 2005 ......... a landmark day .............. nay a historic day I have found the colour I have been surching for. Ladies and Gentleman feast your eyes on "just the right" colour.

P.S sorry .......erm sometimes I can be just a bit drematic

I was getting so desperate for the right colour that I would have stolen the whole bike with the rider still on it

But no it is from an American website and is Plymouth Prowler Orange, and no it's not a golf club but is a wing mirror apparently.

I phoned my local paint supplier and he has the code and is sorting me out a colour chip I will be going up there tomorrow to have a look and I might just buy the paint while I'm there.

It's another thing scratched of my list. Today I had a call from a windowscreen company with a very good quote on supply and fitting of my screen. I will ring them tomorrow and see if it is Ok for me to give everyone their details. They were very helpful and said they had fitted at least 4 screens before, and the price was very good. Let me put it this way cheaper fitted that you can buy it for, a lot cheaper

Took me at least 5 minutes to work out it was a wing mirror, just reminded me of a colour I had seen on one of those mad 200mph+ bikes.

I think it will look tremendous, get your skates on and get it finished! I always thought that the James Bond Copper cars looked gorgeous, but there are nicer shades now obviously. When I was about 14 a neighbour hit the big time and showed up with a copper coloured Lotus Elite S2 , I used to hang around at the end of his driveway on my bicycle just to stare at it, and was definitely a pivotal moment in my aspirations to be a Lotus owner.
