The Lego Lotus

Petrol feet driven

I gave my son loads of lego for christmas, so he built a Lotus out of the parts he could use.

The blue strips are from a Lotus he saw on youtube that had crashed, so he rebuilt it.. hee hee :)

As he finds more parts it will change, but as it stands for lego I thinks its brill..

Turns out that it is a car from one of the kits I gave to him, he told me fibs about it. Never mind its still cool, and hes now not allowed to play with any of hes toy's for a day. But he is now more than determined to make a Lotus. So this may be fun to see what he does come up with.

He's already mastered one skill that evades most of us males.....he's read the instructions!!!! For Lego, that's definitely a Lotus.

Great model! Keep up the creative work. I'd love to see the next iteration.

This brings up an interesting question: Are there any Lego Lotus models? I've seen Ferrari and Lamborghini kits, but I'd buy a few Esprit/Elise/Exige kits if they had them.

have been quiet upto now.

I was in the Lego Builders club circa late 1970's

I have a Lego Builders club badge.

My model of a motorbike and sidecar was featured in the (worldwide) Lego Builders club magazine in about 1980.

This earned me my 'Lego Builders club master builder GOLD badge'.

I stuck around long enough to get my 'Lego Builders club senior member' badge.

I don't want to get big headed, but with a tub full off the right bits, no-one on this forum could beat me at Lego.

Petty maybe, but i would crush you with my badged and officially certified Lego skills.
