alarm and door combination

Whenever i open the driver's door the red lights of both doors are staying on. The worst is that when i arm the alarm i hear a funny little noise which i asume means that the alarm warns me that i left some door open. I found a little trick to escape from this. I open and close once the co driver's door. Then lights are off and the alarm is OK. I pushed the little stick down below the driver's door and seems not to work. I reset the power of the car by unplugging the battery and the stick worked once when i push it., but then again the same.

Ok i've got the answer for the ridle. Actually the problem solved by IT SELF!

sounds like a nightmare, my option would be (not really a answer you want), bin the shite vauxhall (i assume) alarm and buy a clifford, or do what i do and have no door handles,,,that fools there asses he he
