Eclat rear brake cylinders help

Recommended Posts

Hi

am in need of some new rear brake cylinders for my S1 Eclat.

Anyone know the best place to get them....?

What are the equivilent cylinders used on other cars?

Lotus bits are out of them at the mo.

Cheers

Nick

yep - always see them on ebay when you do a search on elite or eclat.

they are shared with a 1300cc capri (but in a mk1 3L drum)

click this link to get to the page - they have lots in stock

Bought some from S J Sportscars about 3 weeks ago for the Elite, assume they are the same on yours, think E Bay possibly cheaper, have a brand new set of seals for them laying on the shelf post them of to you for 5.00, I paid 8.00 for them,, was going to rebuild mine but brake pipe problems scuppered that idea

Did you source any dampers in the end, if not I have a full set of used, but good Armstrong ones should you be interested.

Regards

Mike
