Steering Rack Gaiter recomm. fluid /grease pls?

Please could someone confirm the best oil/grease to use when i replace the steering rack gaiters on my Excel? cant remember what i used last time.............. and Lotus manual (old anyway!) mentions a product name ive never heard of. many thanks. DC.

90 EP gear oil?

Yes you have it right good old EP90 available at all sorts of auto factors, halfords, garages, still very much in use to day, its what the rack will have in it.
