Good to see a lot of Excels on Pistonheads at the moment including three nice ones at the £6k mark. All look great.

I have an Elite 2.2 and Excel SE too (rather than SA like you) and always fancied a Celebration but there was not a good one when I was looking. I would like to see a couple good Excels go for £6,000 or more, it would be good for everyone

ive heard a few of the last ones have. they should. in top condition their well worth it. and i hope like me, your never get rid of your S2.2 Elite cos your never get another. when our Excel is sorted im starting the resto on the Elite regardless. whats ur Elite like? any pics? regards. DC.

hi Guy. i remember your Elite now. think u may have emailed me a pic b4? your Elite has pics everywhere! great looking cars - hope they run well. pity your not closer could get an Elite/Eclat/Excel reg meet going. we sure need one. saw ur Elite at the Club Lotus Malvern show. you have the cloth seat inserts? i just love the Elite and the S2.2 is just that bit more desirable for me cos of the later improvements and small body differences of course. i wish u well and hope we can meet at a meet sometime. regards. No I think was the PO Mark but yes I was at Malvern on the Saturday. Happy to meet up, will keep eye out for car shows somewhere near you over the summer - there are usually plenty.
