Update from CL - can the thread title be modded mods? Then I'll chuck it on the cal!

Dear Member,

Following the late news from Panshanger Airfield that they would not allow

us to hold our proposed breakfast meeting on 26th September, local member

Leslie Seal has kindly given us an alternative suggestion.

Leslie has checked with the proprietor of the SILVER BALL CAFE and they

are more than willing to receive all Lotus owners on Sunday 26th September

for breakfast. This is a VERY popular cafe, serving good cooked food from

£3 - £6.

They serve from 8.30am until 1.45pm on Sundays. The cafe is located on the

A10, 2 miles to the south of Royston, Herts. postcode SG8 8BD.

All Club members are very welcome and if feedback is as good as it sounds

we¹ll make it a regular event.

Dave.

Count me in - its about 2 mins drive from my house!!

Meet for breakfast then go for a hoon or vice versa? What time?

Will edit the thread title.

Alan

PS From Silver bull head towards Reed, left at RAF Barkway, right down the B1039. Left on the barley road to the A505. Back towards royston on A505. Dual carrigeway to baldock. A507 back towards buntingford. Up the A10 back to Silver bull. Some of the best roads in the area!

Hi guys

Depends on work - got a couple of cambelts and other bits and pieces this weekend. If all goes swimmingly on Saturday, then I'm up for it!

Hi Guys,

If you are meeting around 8:30 at Dave F that probably gets you to the Silver Ball at about 9:30 for some breakfast?

If so will meet you at the Cafe then we can play it by ear and either go for a hoon after breakfast and come back afterwards or perhaps look round the other cars and go for a hoon at the end?

Guys, I am very sorry, my mum has asked if the family can visit my dads grave as it would have been his birthday on Sunday, i was expecting to go in the afternoon but mum want to go around 10.30.

SO i am afraid that i will have to give this one a miss, you will have to meet perhaps at Pete's house.

Sorry to mess you about but ny mum has to come first.

I think you should have organised this for Friday evening of the 24th to allow a passing Lotus owner to drop in.

I've been past the area several times in the last couple of weeks , I really must co-ordinate it with local meets.
