2-11 in 50 words

My car is going into a show and they have asked me to write a small piece about the car.

Can anyone give me a bit of history about the 2-11.

I have 50 words max.

Designed initially in 11 weeks for the Shelsey Walsh Centenary hillclimb - where it duly won its class I believe. Tony Shute and Nick Adams did all that early development work largely in their own time afaik.

Then took a further two years before it made it into production.

I don't know the answers but something along the lines of

Number built.

Number used in races.

Best Race results.

Track day experience, handling, performance from a users point of view -best not mention number of engines or gearboxes used :-)

Check with motor sport peeps to see if they can give you the reasoning behind the production of the car - who the intended market was etc.
