Yes, they do swap easily, each one is held in by 4 bolts...as long as they come out!! Quite likely to shear off as rusted solid. Then you'll have to get the welder and the angle grinder and drill out to fit new ones to the seat runners. I can't remember if I had to swap the seat runners between the seats to get the adjusters in the right place...think I did. Then, my seats just sit permanently as far back as they go!!

yes seats only move backwards and forwards and as the lever for this appears to be the same hand on both sides it looks as if the seats are identical and swapping should only be a simple? matter of undoing 8 nuts

I'd recommend a significant amount of wire brushing on the exposed threads under the car and a liberal application or WD40 or similar over a couple of days or you are guaranteed to snap the studs on the seat frame.

I snapped 4 out of the 8 but then I wanst worried as they were not going back in again.......

Take it easy and if they feel TOO tight they will snap, its best to apply more lube, leave for a bit and wiggle it tight and loose and eventually they should come...
