Back by popular demand ( well somebody asked if we could do it again ) is a trip to the Ludlow Food Centre.

Last year, everyone enjoyed the roads and the food and drink when we got there.

So, to repeat myself the plan is to meet once again at The Gingerbread Man in Market Drayton at 10.00am.

After a quick natter the flight path will take us down the A53 and then circumnavigate Shrewsbury, to pick-up the twisty A488 all the way down to Knighton.

From Knighton we'll turn left along the A4113 which will take us directly to Ludlow Food Centre on the A49.

The cafe will be open and we'll be able to sample its delights (bacon/sausages sarnies etc).

The food shop will also be open so we can all take something back home .................. yum yum

All those food junkies who fancy a fun drive on some twisty rounds, please sign on:

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

Hmmm .................

Can only assume you'll be in the Chrysler to increase the amount of beer you can carry back home :)

Well guys

A good run out (apart from the sodding camper van :) ) The beef pie and roast vegetables went down a treat! Have sampled the old school and senior school, just the junior school to go!

Graham, that road back was pretty good.

Eating Al fresco is always a good thing.

Ade remember don't drink and steer!

I agree Dave, but I think the road there is superb once you have clear road in front of you.

The A488 runs from south Shrewsbury down to Knighton and is a bikers/drivers paradise. I can't understand why so few people use it.

Overshoot one bend and you're in the drink !

Not opened my 6 pack yet ........... a real Hobsons choice :)

Hope you enjoy all that cheese on the boat Ade.

He's a few shots of your Le Mans 2010 paintwork ( to follow once I've mastered "Posting Images" :)

Nice run out today chaps, really enjoyed it and eating outside at the food centre was a real treat along with all the goodies i bought for our trip on the canal next week. 4mph is going to seem a lot slower than 80mph on the 488.

PS it took ages to get the dead wildlife off the front of the car

Hello again NMEG - good to see that excursions are still going on.

Been off the Forum for about 6 months due to IT problems, and Esprit been off the road due to oil and water leaks awaiting fixing. Both problems now fully resolved and looking forward to 'flying again'.

Hope to meet up with you soon.

David.
