Tinkering with the engine ATM (only big bit I have!)

I've noticed that the link from the speedo cable to the gearbox is loose. Its not obvious how it connects nor if it can or should be tightened.

When the car was on the road, it did seem to read a faster speed than I thought I was going but I accept I may have been mistaken.

Thoughts?

Yes, its a clearance fit, a new O-ring should sort it out. Its secured by the larger bolt through the rear cover.
