Bespoke luggage

I was surfing the Esprit section the other day and they have a topic regards bespoke luggage for it. Good reviews and link to Roadsterbag which I surfed. What they did, looked good, and their prices very reasonable I thought. I was looking at the Porsche Boxster set of 3. I used to own one and had problems getting ideal mix of bags and couldn't afford a second mortgage for the Porsche own brand items.

As we all know the Evora boot is an interesting shape to get anything in other than golf clubs, and I don't golf these days, so contacted them about the Evora. The reply was:

Dear Mr. Matheson,

thank you for your inquiry concerning our Roadsterbag luggage.

Until now we are not able to produce individual sets. We are currently working

on this project, but I expect that this will be possible in late 2010 beginning

of 2011.

Anybody else found any ideal bags for the boot or is just carry on using the back seats and seat belts like I've done to date and keep the boot for jackets and boots etc.

I find there is ample room for a pair of folded up pants in the boot

I never said that I took too much. Folded up pants and a disposable tooth brush from the hotel seems about right to me. Seems somebody else must fill up the bags!

I have that bag too, took it to Germany with me at the weekend and oddly enough we've sold 5 in the past week!

Heh, Good try Bibs. Can't fault you for that boss.

However you evidently didn't read the first paragraph of my opening post closely! I thought Porsche luggage was overpriced but at least it was solid aluminium. That is a soft holdall with an 8 ball on the side. I'm not into pool!

I've got no money left anyway after buying the car. I need poor man stuff. What you need do is contact this lot & put some pressure on them that you are the man for selling to Lotus owners and hurry up and get finger out.

Mind you still nothing compared to Spyker and their latest toy. Did you see the cost of the LV luggage option tick box. Something like £16K I think it was!!!!!
