Carb throttle return spring.

Recommended Posts

While taking off the air box and one carb on my 2.2 Eclat, I managed to accidentally disconnect the large spring that runs from the underside of the airbox to the throttle linkage that aids the carbs returning to idle after you take your foot off the accelerator.

I reconnected the spring to what I think are the right places, but the spring now appears too long, i.e. it's almost bent over double at idle position. Either the spring was too long (I think I would have noticed that prev) or I've reconnected it wrongly.

Can anyone advise exactly where the attachment points are, or if it's not too much trouble, post a photo?

Regards

Mat
