Esprit V8 1998 aerial

Apologies for not being around for ages. Had a very bad crash in February, not in the Esprit, not my fault; huge van ploughed into the back of me whilst I was stationary. OUCH! And wrote my car off.

Really struggling to generate much interest in driving or cars fullstop since this incident. It was pretty bad and has left me a bit scared of the road. Maybe this will pass?

Anyway, today, the Esprit had its aerial 'liberated', AKA some piece of scum decided it was their right to pinch it. To be honest, neither of us had been aware these things unscrewed.

Is there a generic Lotus aerial that fits a range of cars, that one of you could kindly recommend? Or do I have to source a specific one?

It's reputedly a mk1 Vauxhall Tigra aerial, the gasket for its base is definitely from one.

Definitely a Vauxhall part - probably off more than just a Tigra as they are fairly generic across the range.

And VW. Ebay offers an assortment. There's a neat 9in flexi one from China too

Sorry to hear about your accident Katie. I had it happen to me, I can still feel uneasy stopped at traffic lights. But at least it wasn't the Esprit. I fitted an internal aerial to mine (pinch that if you can)
