Nice weekend for a run.....

Recommended Posts

I was in the mood for a run in the car if the weather is OK, and the Club Lotus run is on Sunday, anybody else up for it?

Just to remind everyone that :-

1) Sunday 6th June will be our Fish & Chip Run to Sizewell Beach. As before the run will start from Tesco's car park at Martlesham at 1000 hrs with a direct run to the Queens Head at Brandeston for a coffee/bacon roll/comfort stop. From the pub there will be a scenic route to Sizewell Beach for Fish & Chips or a brunch in the beach cafe or in the pub around the corner. Afterwards you could have a walk along the beach/ sand dunes. Sadly it is no longer possible to visit the power station.(Since September 12th 2001!)

I was thinking of joining at the pub, the drive to Martlesham and then to Brandeston will be quite mundane, but should be nice from there on.

Should know weather by Friday/Sat. I'm in if it's nice.

We could go for the option of popping and seeing the guys at Cayley Hall http://www.caleyhallhotel.co.uk/delorean/default.htm

I know they've stated more of the runs will be Saturday, but hopefully some Sunday as well, even if not we could head up there quite early and at least meet them before most leave (means setting off from Norwich circa 9-9:30 am). Unless anybody else fancies a run up there Saturday (I plan to pop and see them on Saurday)

Oh Chris aka Internets...

Ah, I'd then thought time to post up about Sunday, but I'd not looked in detail at the forecast, just spotted there would be some rain.

I'm up for it, should we do this run as per CL?

Sorry to hear that your father is unwell, Andy.

There was a good mix of cars at this event. We did a complete lap of Suffolk at a very sedate pace ending up at Sizewell beach. I think this would have driven Kimbers up the wall.

Never got further than third gear myself and car is not that happy at 45 mph.
