I thought it might be interesting to see what sorts of cars people had before purchasing the Evora.

I am sure this must also be part of the Lotus marketing strategy too.

Are we all hardened Lotus devotees?

Or is it a new experience - and if so,what are your thoughts now that you have experienced Lotus

For my part, I had an Eilse 111s for 3 years. I love the cars, handling and distinction of being just a little bit different.

Thanks

Matthew indeed! How'd ya guess?!

Yeah I took them all apart from the track one at Knockhill, and the T350 close up one.. I'm quite into my camera stuff so will probably post plenty of the Evora when it arrives!

I was Boxster S for previous 5 years.

post-7988-013163300 1275504013.jpg

For the 20 years prior to that nothing too exotic as family cars had to rule despite them being sportier models. There was an original Quattro way back and even a Mexico before that even further back in my 'youf'. Oh yes, a Celica during the kids early teens phase.

Does having a TT-S on order count when the Evora was launched. It never happened after the BMS 08 launch. Before that there was an AMG 55 SLK on order but Merc pulled out of a signed deal on price as a facelift came along and they wouldn't honour deal.
