different recon water pump than origninal?

i got a new recon water pump for my 907 engine, but it looks different.

1. there is no thermostat switch on the new one

2. is comes out of the engine much wider so that the dirve belt is not in correct position.

what happened?

is this normal on recon water pumps?

have i got the wrong one or do i have to modify the drivebelt wheel and the thermostat switch somehow?

It should be like for like, as the ali body should be an original one. Can you post a pic of the new one?

I believe the pumps for the air-con and non air-cond engines are different, in particular the pulley alignment. Maybe you have got the wrong one.

SJ's website has photos of the non-air con version, which maybe can help you work out which you have, and which you need.

thx it is the wrong one. my supplier sent me the wrong one.
