Anyone know of a free ICON maker for Windows

I need to make up a few icons for windows and I am looking for a free program to do this (not a trial version).

I have downloaded a couple of programs that time out after a month or so but surely this cant be such a hard task that you have to pay for a program to do it???

I use Imagicon from www.deviouscodeworks.co.uk.

It does what it says and is free.
