D424 XPH - Esprit S3

There's a letter in this months Octane from the owner of this car trying to trace some history. It has 'show car' scrawled on some inner panels and Lotus have suggested in appeared at the International Motor Show at the NEC. Anyone know the car, have any pics?

Bibs is it a Calypso Red N/A HC? I lived near the NEC and always went to the shows and do have some photos around '87 of the Motor Show?.............

Yes I think it is - there is a piece in the latest edition of Club Lotus News with a picture of it and the owner asking the same question

In that case I'm almost certain I've got some shots of it on the Lotus stand at that show.......................................

I spent enough hours oggling over cars on stands at the NEC shows and the pictures I took of them in my teens!!!! I'll try to dig them out and work out a scanner!
