It seems to be the new Esprit

One Rumor ist that 3 types of Esprits going to be lunched

First one is a the little Esprit with V6 Engine of the Evora + more Power

second is a V8 Engine Esprit form Lexus IFS

and the monster Esprit with V10 Lexus LFA Engine

should this small thing [gap] behind the rear-quarter glass section (in the picture of the yellow one..) be an 'fuel-flap' ...or is it just some sort of 'quality Lotus fabrication' ...with not perfectly placed body sections

I got to laugh at the renderings Auto Express produce as fact.

This drawing is based off a project which was done for Hotwheels, so will never see the light of day!

I have just been reading the artical about Lotus is back in the magazine which they say is official, yep they used the same rendering for the Esprit replacement lol.

we all know the orange hotwheels-car, with its small 'waist line' between extreme big wheels.. .

It's an old story in this board. But at least -this design detail was reused in some ways for the EVORA

-so who cares about the looks of the new Esprit ..as long as there is an new Esprit finally and that it really 'looks' good at least, to get the aceptance on the market that is needed to produce it with sucess

New Esprit is on Lotus cards by several years.Anyone knows if the old Esprit design of Carr Crijns was modified or changed by Donato Coco?

I have to disagree. It has seen the light of day..... I actually held the Hotwheels car in my hand. lol.

Thank goodness it's NOT the new Esprit! While it has some nice elements, overall I don't like it. FUGLY wheels too.
