Hmmm .. ok, it's probably broke, but I wonder if it would fit in my Excel! Without the turbos the N/A V8 gives 285bhp - nice :-)

Does anyone know if the belhousing is different on the V8 & 4 Cylinder esprits? If it's the same, the V8 should bolt onto the Excel 912 belhousing!

Thats a moody lookin lump!, judging by the ammount of corrosion it must have been in a flood I think Steves Idea for installing one in his Excel is great!There used to be a guy in Montreal who had a business installing GM Buick (later Rover) aluminium V8s into Elites . This conversion really transforms these cars(for the better) I still have copies of the article and will forwards them if you want, Wayne
