Funny how when your looking for an Esprit things catch your eye, theres a white G car on autotrader for 10K james bond white, never gave the G cars a second look till I saw this one, must say it really caught my eye, am I digging a massive hole for myself

Hell, you only have to show a white car a wet sponge for ten minutes and it looks

literally brilliant, and the best bit?, Every crack and chip in the GRP will be more or

less the same colour of the car

Well...

I've got a laptop,lead and freescan that i needed to trace

my fault code (that was limiting my power). I then changed

an assortment of solenoids, relays, resistors etc, until i found

it and got my ECU to shut up and drive!

I'm about to replace the Chargecooler pump for electric as i

think it's going oil to water. I've just de-catted, removed the

exhaust back pressure valve and the throttle jack and had a

new 02 sensor. Oh, and a cracked exhaust manifold of course.

A few quid there.

My N/A series 3 had none of these to worry about!

Good points Paul... Am I just being picky, or are the current crop of stevens cars up for sale on the various websites "poor examples", "overpriced" or a bit of both

Mine was the best the factory could do in83.........why would I hotrod a timeless classic? In 10 yrs time some body will be trying to undo your mods! One addage I have learned, there is always someone who has a car that is faster than yours (apparently you!) Wayne 83 Turbo a slug, 0 to 60 in 5.4 secs! B)

Hahaha, I was playing, Steven's cars aren't yet the classics of the G car status, but that bit of extra power and technology kinda makes up for it
