I have been waiting for a Bond girl to captivate me as much as Carole Bouquet did in the 80's and I have a good feeling about Eva Green.

Too bad they could'nt have Bond driving a supercharged Exige!

Daniel Craig does not look like Bond - especially, considering the fact that Casino Royale is supposed to be a 'Bond Begins' , he looks too old... (My 2ct.)

I think D craigs acting will be spot on, I just think its plain to see that his face is just a little to harsh for the role. But then maybe he looks like bond should have all along, Cheese goes with bond and I dont think he can do cheese. If you can do cheese with some form of style, you can be bond, well, I dont think it will be to long ( maybe 2 films ) before they go back to there second choice, ( who was too young at the time ) and well, thats me. SO there. And I maintain, I will drive my own lotus in the film :-)

I am damn well excited about this, it looks the nuts. Hopefully it will provide a welcome break from the ever more ridiculous films of the Brosnan era, don't get me wrong, Brosnan is probably the best actor to portray 007 but the storylines (particularly Die Another Day, basically Diamonds are Forever rehashed and more silly) were getting a tad stupid.

Roll on November. I may need to book a week off!

Understand, I've watched Bond Films almost my entire life. How else did I get hooked on the Esprit (well, parlty - Hot Wheels had much more to with it). But I digress.

I will conceed that Mr. Bronson probably appealled to American audiences more. He's pretty accessable. Mostly due to his TV stint.

However, Mr. Connery seemed to best tipify that blend of cheese and cool. Mr. Moore, on the other hand leaned a bit to the dairy side of things. Mr. Dalton was too peppery for my taste and Mr. Lazenby had the misforture of getting the best script (IMO) - think about it...just imagine Mr. Connery in that role!

Do it.

I'll wait.....see, so I don't blame ole George much. Right script. Wrong Bond.

Which leads me to Casino Royale - interesting concept (ie last year's Batman Begins succeed here - really brought back a dying series) - again, WRONG BOND....I'm a theatre/film/corporate Director...casting is the most important thing....Mr. Craig is most likely the wrong Bond for what could be really good idea.

Course, that's my opinion - I could be wrong.

But I agree on the D.Craig verdict... I liked OHMSS - This should be the right stuff for a remake...

dont care what anyone says, I think the best bond and film was OHMSS, first film bond put skis on, sticks to the plot of the book and has the 2nd best ever bond girl, (Diana Rigg)

best bond girl is Kristina Wayborn, Magda from Octopussy
