Spring is (hopefully) coming to Finland and we are anxious to get the Lotus back on the streets....but, look at my throttle cable

We need new throttle cable set and I already contacted to SJ, but Steve said, that the cable is different on USA-models. Inside cable isn't a problem but the outer cable is also in very bad condition and need to replace.

Part No. for Euro models is: COMPLETE THROTTLE CABLE (Nipple on one end) SJ079J0012 and Bibs kindly told me that the USA Part No. might be: C079J4016K which was obsolete 2008

So, do any of you know shop, that still might sell these? Or do you have extra cable set lying on you garageshelf

JAE in California have them; I just bought one. The cable is packaged as a Lotus Genuine Replacement part and the part number on the label is C082J4161F, and the label is dated 30 July 2009. I have not yet installed it but both ends look correct so I think it safe to assume that it is the correct part.

EDIT: I see that your car is an '84; mine is an '86 with Bosch engine- not sure at all that the same cable will fit yours but do mention the year of your car to JAE and they should be able to help you.
