Came across this advert on Craigslist today.

Underneath the text are pictures of a silver and a red Elite. The paint on the silver car looks a bit second-hand while the red one doesn't look as though it has a front bumper but for $2500 for the pair you can't really complain. The cars in Phoenix so water damage shouldn't be a problem.

The problem is that whatever needs replacing on one of them will almost certainly need replacing on the other so it wouldn't be a case of making one good car out of two.

Do it. I would, do them both, sell one to re-cope some costs.

I don't have space for any non-runners at the moment let alone 2. I would think it would cost more to restore the second car than I could sell it for. Probably better to just sell one straightaway for $1,500.

If you got the space, do it! and both look worthy of a resto.

I would do it, Im becoming ever so fond of th elite every time i look at one, It must be a retro thing but the early ones look stunning when rerstored and have bagfulls of charector about them.

Actually I'm looking for a good donor car as I have a spotless ser1 frame hanging on my wall just waiting. It's a shame those are all the way out in Arizona.
