Yellow Eclat, M40, High Wycombe yesterday

As I motored north, a low and fantastic looking bright yellow Eclat whizzed southbound, on the M40 below High Wycombe around 7pm Tuesday evening. Registration looked very impressive ECL 47S. Minutes later, an Elan S2 was following it. Coincidence?

Yes, that was me. I was playing football for the company team in a 5 a side tournament at Birmingham City. A combination of circumstances meant I only had the lotus, so used it for the run up and down. Dropped in at Lotusbits on the way back to order some new ARB to lower link bushes and pick up a replacement door plunger switch. Was a nice little run out but a bit sore on fuel...
