I hope to know more about this special Esprit Essex:

numbers produced, colors, if it's possible to find in 2005 the special decalco Essex, may be to stick on a S4!

And is this Essex still on road in 2005? a super special Esprit more power full exists? the leather trim colors produce. Pictures and more about

Numbers I can't remember, but colour is ESSEX blue - only, with red conolly interior! Extreme cool thing is the Panasonic ceiling mounted stereo!!!! B) Feeling like a fighter-pilot, mate? The club secretary of the Lotus-Club-Deutschland owns an immaculate example. The was one for sale in the Netherlands (in boxes and bits, though).

I love those gaudy Essex Turbos! It was being passed by one when they were 1st. out in 1980 that made me fall for the Esprit. I believe Lotus were planning on producing 100 ,but according to different sources between 44 to 70 odd were built in the Essex blue colour scheme with the decal package.As Jimmy wrote they also had red Interiors and the sooper duper Panasonic roof mount FM stereo system, and standard A/C. Producing a modern version of that car would be a cool idea, a good Graphic shop could produce some decals from photos you supply. Wayne 83 Turbo
