Car Interior is the closest system "connected" to our bodies and perhaps the last on the list of modifications.

IMO, Lotus interior could be improved functionally and aesthetically!

The stock Lotus interior seems -to me- to be a compromise of rich-looking leather stretched over rather inexpensive materials like ABS plastic sheeting and thin plywood. When the leather lifts and peels it looks like trash. This type of construction lends well to flat surfaces but not the complex concave or convex shapes in other manufacturer's higher-end cars. Just look at a modern 911 dash for this immediate shape difference.

A complete revamp of this would have to be done with the highest end materials plus very high standards of fit & finish. Otherwise it will simply look out-of-place. Purists might not like this suggestion but it "could" improve the connection between driver and their immediate environment. For me, the angle, diameter, shape (D-shaped), and depth of steering wheel all received mods which helped greatly in improving fit.

I don't mind the interior of my S4. I suppose there are things that could be improved, but at the moment I'm happy. Not having been exposed to a lot of high end cars, I don't see any real problems. Liz's Honda CRV has a leather interior, but the dash is all plastics. Mine is leather so to me, the S4 interior is nicer.

It's in raven as well so against the red exterior it looks pretty good.
