I have found that by adjusting the manual knob at the rear of the motor that levels it up. Failing that the rods that push and pull the pods are threaded at both ends. Removal from the motor end is relatively easy ( 11 mm spanner)

The headlamps are connected to the motors with a short rod with rose joints at each end. They rose joints screw onto the rod and are held in place with a lock nut. I just undid one of the rose joints and its lock nut and screwed in/out the rod until the lights sat level.

Hope this helps!

Now that the motors are no longer new, the stop position switches are liable to be less accurate than they were...so each time you cycle the lamp pods you will probably get a slightly different position! Adjust the threaded rods as suggested to get the best compromise....I've never bothered to get into the motor units to see if there's any good to be done with the switches....

thanks guys, i was going to do that, but wanted to check there wasnt a rubber stop or switch somewhere first.

The only problem i see with this method is that it will alter the up position a bit too.... only a few mm though

Doesn't that only fix it only until the next time the lights are lifted???

Are they the same units as the S4?

If they are there is no limit switch... it's all done on motor current draw, once the motor stalls at the end of travel the motor stops so the only solution is to adjsut the rod length or motor position.

It might be the motor has shifted on the mounts are loose?
