As a small clue to the kind of improvements you'll not see but perhaps will notice overall, here's a before and after of the panel which goes under the steering wheel. You can see the difference quiet clearly, what you can't feel is the much nicer, softer leather on the newer panel.

Looks like a step in the right direction... or quite a few steps!

How much of a hike is it price wise from the MY11 cars an when will it be at the dealers?

1.5%!

The full price list it at the foot of the article.

Very nice indeed... I hope this is as good as it should be, I cautiously optimistic though!

Have the oranges been dropped from the option list?

That's odd, I thought the Evora looked amazing in Burnt Orange especially. Overall though I think it's step in the right direction, It's good to see Nightfall back, Velvet Red could be interesting too. Funny they've kept Lazar Blue over Persian but I guess that's decision based on sales. Does anyone know if the Racing Green is the old 'flat' colour? I'm not convinced by the Autumn Bronze and Sienna Brown.... I can't imagine speccing up a £60k car and then requesting.... BROWN!!!

The MY2012 interior looks much better in terms of finishing, but more importantly (in my opinion) is the fit.

I personally don't have an issue with the quality of the materials used in my car, but its how everything is put together thats more the issue.

So I hope the interior of the 2012 models not only looks better, but actually feels more solid.

Not a fan of brown myself. However, Sienna Brown is stunning - but you wouldn't describe it as brown. It's like a darker Carbon Grey but with more coloured metallic flakes in it. I think once people see it, it will be a popular choice. I'm very suprised by the dropping of Orange, bearing in mind its popularity.

Racing Green used to be known as Epsom Green which is similar to the Lotus Carlton colour. I think Bibs inadvertantly took a photo of a MY12 in it a while back and posted on this forum. It's also a beautiful colour for the Evora.

Remember most metallic paints particularly in the lighter hues are almost impossible to get these days thanks to the Japanese earthquake/tsunami. There is a world wide shortage of these colours as the factory is disabled/flattened.

Range Rover have launched the new Evoque with a large % of the colours originally printed in books unavailable including the colours that are shown in publicity shots! You have got to feel for them. To compensate that they have added other more boring range colours so all a bit dismal. We were ordered flat white anyway but I guess it will become one of the more popular colours due to this problem.
