Hello all,

Last year, we organized our first Lotus Tour Limburg, a road trip through the Belgian region of Limburg. Petrolheads may know this region as that where Circuit Zolder is located. ;-)

We had a very great time last year and so we decided to go for it again, this year.

Last year 54 cars showed up. Our aim is to do even better than last year, not so much regarding the amount of cars, but even more regarding the chosen roads and quality of the locations. Have a look how it was last year on our website.

This year we even have a mystery guest, which I am sure, a lot of people interested in Lotus, would really like to meet.

24^th June 2012

We will start at the Aulnenhof, located in Walshoutem.

After an extensive breakfast, we will start a 75 miles long roundtrip, heading towards the Namur Region, taking a bit bigger roads, but one must keep in mind the roads go quite up and down in that region, with some exciting corners in between and always beautiful scenery. But even before noon we will hit the Limburg region again and we will have lunch and refreshments at the Aulnenhof.

At noon, we also have our quiz.

An excellent afternoon roundtrip of around 75 miles, is still ahead upon us. Driving across the borders of Limburg, this roadtrip will be more a variation of smaller roads mixed with industrial parks, where you can show your car’s horsepower.

Our price giving, an and dinner will be served at the exquisite Hof Ten Steen. There is a choice of 3 main courses: meat, fish or vegetarian food at dinner.

Here we can discuss, what surely will be a beautiful day and make some new plans for next year ;-)

Important information

-The end is only 7 miles away from start, so if you bring you car on a trailer, that shouldn’t be a big issue.

Our start location is a hotel as well, so you can stay over before and after our trip. Our road book from last year started there as well and is available by simple request. It really is a beautiful region, a lot of things to see and the Aulnenhof is almost in the middle of Belgium. So it’s a great base to start from exploring Belgium.

Did you know?

-There is a trackday at Spa on Thursday the 21th of June for those who want to tackle the famous track before our roundtrip, ask us if you want more information.

-The Nurburgring/Nordschleife is only 100 miles away from the Aulnenhof.

-Thursday the 28th of June there is an international test day at Zolder, only people who own a race License can take part that day.

-Friday the 29^th of June it is the exciting annual TVR Continental Meeting at Zolder, which accepts Lotus cars.

Gent, if I read this correctly, the cost is 55 or 60 Euros for the day, then any hotels, tracks or crosssings should be added to this figure ? Is that right.

Yep that is the PDF.

You got it right, the price is 60 euro for non members of the Belgian Lotus Club, 55 for members. 60 euro gives you an excellent roadbook, breakfast, lunch and dinner (you won't be hungry I can guarantee that). A whole day of fun on exciting Belgian roads.

The start place is a hotel as well and we made reservations for some rooms, so if anyone is interested, I need to know how many days you plan to stay and so I can ask for the rate.

Less than 2 weeks to go, until we need to end the registration for the event. Mainly due to catering reasons. So I can only recommend to register now! Already over 30 cars have registered. Follow it here.

Our Mystery Guest confirmed he/she will bring a very special Lotus with him/her! But don't forget, we think our Mystery Guest is even a more exceptional person that any car he or she will bring...

I feel confident all Lotus drivers who bought a new Lotus after 2001, will think likewise..
