Do all the Toyota engined UK spec Elise have ABS fitted? And are all the Toyota engined UK spec Elise built '04 onwards?

I'm looking for a car with ABS and a Toyota engine and it would be a great help is someone could clarify this.

My understanding (confirmed from a quick glance at my copy of Jeremy Walton's Elise book) is that all Toyota engined cars had ABS. Both the engine & the ABS were necessary for getting the car into the US - the so called 'Federal Elise'.

Do you know where the pump would be mounted?

Cheers, it does appear that the only Elise equiped with ABS were the Toyota engined cars manufactured from 2004 and possibly K Series cars from 2006.
