Newbie Esprit Suspension Help

JonLotus

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Posting on behalf of a Spanish Lotus Owner who is after some improved suspension for his 1988 Esprit Turbo.

I've seen various kits for sale from PUK, PNM etc but I'd like to know what real owners think of the best solutions to aftermarket suspension. Or is it worth staying with the original stuff?

Any help greatly appreciated,

Jon - (Newbie)

I've got adjustable AVO's all round on my '89.

Cheaper than stock, and the adjustment wheels

are very easily accessable (i can reach them all

without needing to kneel).

Now i'm not a suspension expert, but i spent a morning

thrashing about after they were fitted, and found it quite

interesting how the car was between the settings. Was

very easy to find a setting i found best. Will never touch

them again now!

The only Adjustable unit's i've run before were koni's and

although not on an Esprit (so not a fair comparison), i did

not notice the range of settings so noticeably at the wheel.

:)
