To get to the Plaza, ignore all public parking areas and continue to the bottom of the hill and you will be directed onto the Plaza by one of the marshalls.

So a rather dreich start to the day as you will see from the photographs, but after breakfast and the short boat trip on the canal and up and down on the wheel it turned out to be quite a nice day. Nine Lotus cars plus to a couple of German interlopers (very welcome though) were parked on the Plaza and attracted a fair amount of interest from the general public.

The group and a few of the cars.

Couldn't find a plastic haddock to hang out of the window like Roger Moore.

Mark

Thoroughly enjoyable morning and thanks to you and 0ssie for marshalling the cars safely and without incident. No pedestrians injured, no cars in the water despite my best efforts!

Brian,

Yet again thanks for organising another great event.

Had a look through the Flikr photo's and the picture of your Esprit in the top car park is a definite candidate for the 2014 calendar.

Nice to catch up with some old faces and some new as well. Lets just hope we all have some positive news of Lotus by the next meet.

George & Sandra

Ps Our German interloper (James) even remarked that he enjoyed the company of the nice brit cars and there were no nasty remarks about the war, 1966 or beach towels

Enjoyable event today (despite the rain!) and nice to meet you all. Thanks for sharing the pictures Brian, some cracking ones there.

Hope to see you again soon,

Ozzie.
