Front turn indicator

Guys

My front turn indicator in the bumper has had the bulb socket rot out.

I have a whole new unit to put in fortunately.

I just don't see how to get to it. Does the bumper have to come off or do I have to take out the headlamp pod? Nothing in the manual .

I tried getting mine out (the bumper) and once I got all the nuts off, (just that part is a party in itself, some are accessible thru the cavity for the pods...) I had to give up since the bumper was stuck and I didn't want to damage it... good luck.
