The badest, rudest 4 pot is being assembled in a secret location as we speak...

Codename "F.G.R.C." it will be a legend of engineering from the KEMSHER house of tuning...

:P

For those that will be humbled by its majesty I can only say, honour thy Wedge!

Fear no other brand of supercar, a saviour will arrive to free us from the binds of age, we will once again rule the roads!

That is deffo one way of puttin it spa...

It's the safest Wedge this side of door stops... you will knows it when you sees it...

Got the Pearlster for everyday posing, and this one for advancing the cause. The Pingster has decided much of the specs...

Right now, having weight reduction measures fabricated. The mota is all ready but the box is ongoing, will put to the road for running in with a standard unit and then we will work from there to add the finishing articles.

I must mention that Garry Kemp (the safest engine dude on the planet) has contributed a heck of a lot of his personal time and energy into completing Red Sonia.

He has made this project possible in no small measure. The professionalism of Cos DeMartino and Richard Monkcom at Sportomotive has also made the assembly of the car (based on a 97 GT3) successful and very much less complicated and anxiety free.

The help and enthusiasm of H-Team members Bibbo and Fishy has been equally important and their support has been invaluable.

When this dream comes true, a lot more people than just me will have a share in it.

Thank you to all of you.

Thanks for info B33 ENN :P It sounds like a bad mama-jamma :P I understood the Ali G part of your post but had difficulty with rest. For where pray tell, would a humble peasant like myself find a portrait of this astounding device? :(

..is explained here:

I must mention that Garry Kemp (the safest engine dude on the planet) has contributed a heck of a lot of his personal time and energy into completing Red Sonia.

Aside from that, yours and my lack of knowledge

of this beast is more or less the same for now...

Red Sonia:

Was a new S4 motor that Garry Kemp and helpers stripped and re-engineered into a motor designed to withstand around 450bhp. This involved using components and parts that would make the engine far more agressive and deliver higher torque and top power, yet be more driveable with less lag (the turbo re-design was intrinsic to that end).

It involved a re-built turbo by an engineer in the USA. The design spec was to produce a turbo that had ultra low friction and a turbine that can boost higher with greater efficiency.

It also had an ECU specially developed by an ex-indycar engine programmer to suit the specification of the higher throughput motor. It was decided tha we would not push the motor to it's max, instead "detune" the potential to improve reliability and longevity.

We also considered gearbox/clutch options, and we decided to continue with the Renault unit but upgrade it for strength. This will follow in the model of the Derek Bell conversion. Then we will see what happens...

The rest of the GT3 base involves lightening - stripping unnecessary items such as aircon, stereo etc - re-fabricating certain parts with lighter materials and improving suspension, wheels and other components.

Hope that gives a general outline...

:P

Wayne...

Right now i have no pics to post, but an LEW web page is on its way to detail this unique vision.

You may ask: what inspired this vision, and why did I pursue it?

This is the most honest answer I can give anyone:

"The Soviet Mig-31 is the deadliest warplane ever built. Codenamed FIREFOX by NATO,

SQN LDR  Nicholas,

This is just the way to get yourself drummed out of BUMBLE ESCADRILLE,

NO more of this Pinko talk or the feds will be asking questions,

Mike Mc Carthy.

I AM WATCHING ALL OF YOU !!!

it can fly over 4,000 m.p.h., is invulnerable to radar - and has a lethally sophisticated weapons system that its pilot can control by thought impulses..."

This car will be the closest I am ever likely to get to that. Hope it whets your appetite...

You are, of course, a complete loon!  :P

Stop teasing......PICTURES!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Satellite images have so far not shown credible evidence that F.G.R.C. is actually out of the hanger. We have no reports that indicate she has been on the road. Those at the HIS (Hoon Intelligence Service) believe that she is still a month away from this and no sitings have been reported to date.

Rest assured as soon as we have verifiable images of this incredible experiment, we shall share them for analysis.

B33 ENN out.
