Worn bushes or ball joints are the most likely suspects - a vigorous rocking of the wheels should identify a bad upper ball joint - bushes may need to be tested with a small crow-bar to test for flex / slop.

My 2000 Sport 350 with 12k miles has a bad upper ball joint ... hopefully I'll be changing it tomorrow if the weather stays good! Only

Hi Patrick

Have you bumped up a curb or hit a pot hole, that could change your settings but my bet is that you have some wear somewhere. (did that last bit sound right to you) Anyway,s

Have you checked if there is any where in the ball joint that is in the steering rack end of the track rod you can check that by jacking both front wheels of the ground and while making shore that your steering wheel don't move gently try to swivel your front wheels and feel for movement in and out in that joint on both sides of the car.

Hope this is of some help

Ray
