Adjustable shocks- how long do they last?

Greetings,
About 7 years ago I purchased Gaz adjustables. They have worked well over the years but after the last 2 drives the front end feels sloppy and the wheels started to rub the wells. My guess is the adjustable shocks have seen better days. Anything else I should look out for?

If the wheels have started to rub the well's and they did not before... Then i would

change the lot... 7 years is a very good innings for any sports suspension, particularly

the bushes... I would expect them to be well past their sell by date, unless polly in

which case about ready for a change..
