Boost Qustion

Hi All

I have a full larini soprts system including decat pipe,also a number 6 chip and a Bailey dump valve,now when i am err....... caning it ,i have max boost but it sometimes drops off (according to the gauge), generally just before red line,and comes back to full boost when i have changed gear ,although i dont have this problem in 5th i get full boost when on the gas pedal) was wondering whether the dump valve is dumping because the boost overcomes the valve spring pressue ,or have i just answered my own question what do you think?

Nick I could think of loads of reasons why this happens.

You need to record what you are detecting in a Freescan log file and then we will know.
