Sorry, I can't figure out what you're saying.

On the Esprit:

The relay provides power to the pump.

The pump should be grounded at the pump end (depending on what type of engine you have).

You jumped the relay and the pump worked, so the pump side of things should be ok.

The relay needs power and a ground for the coil to operate. You jumped the relay plug and the pump worked, so you know you have power to the relay. However, you seem to contradict yourself regarding the relay ground/earth:

"No ground out(?) of relay"

"car has ground to the pump or at the relay"

Does the relay coil have continuity?

Check for loose/corroded terminals at two fuel pump relay bases, and an  inertia switch (easy check for continuity with VOM or light)

 

Then, and only then,

check an  overboost relay/switch and Engine Overspeed Module (best to borrow a "good" one or new).

 

Study the diagram on page 65, section LF of your Service Notes, it is all there.
