any  ideas of where to get a sterring rack and track rod ends at a reasnable cost or replacement  none genuine track rod ends please

Can only think of "the usual" places.  SJs have track rods, but only a LHD rack.  You could try South West Lotus Centre.  Phil has loads of stuff available and seems to source stuff he hasn't got when needed.  Have you tried searching/posting on Lotus Elan Central?  Good luck....

I have sourced track rod ends about £12 each  all I need in the future is the inner track rod no one lists but I think I will have to remove it and see what it matches  I will try south west lotus tried searching elan central to no avail
