The gearbox out of my 1988 is totaly efd, but can I install one from S4 car. I know the gearchange is reversed and I have two S4 driveshafts. ?

You can put in an S4 gearbox, but the rear cover on the S4 box changed to have the shift selector translator on the opposite side of the box, so you'll need to move your earlier rear housing to the new box.
