It's taken outside of the Lotus factory, if I remembered right...

It looks genuine, but you know what ebay is like. Buyer beware.

I recommend you all ignore it, don't make a bid. So that I can sneak up there this week and have a look at it.

Duh, the photo is the Lotus publicity shot of OPW 654W taken on the test track at Hethel, this is a wind up

I have asked the seller a question about whether the photo is the actual car - I await the response

More on this - the photo is the wrong way round! I found the photo on the Pistonheads site and the car is facing the other way. It is definately the same picture just reversed.

Just looked from Lotus Esprit The Complete Story-book.

There is probably the same car on page 113, it's facing left to right (so it's also facing the other way than picture in ebay). Landscape is surely the same as all these pictures (from factory Hethel).

Also sent some e mails to the seller about this one but no replies then noticed ebay had withdrawn it so feel generally spoofed.

Just as well 'cos it sounds like the car was never there !!!

Marc,the real OPW 654W is currently appearing at the cars of the stars museum in Keswick. You will need to beat the owner to death with wads of cash to buy it (more than 3 Grand)
