Does S4s steering wheel fit a 1990 SE?

Hi all,

Just want to ask, if a steering Wheel from say a S4s will fit directly over on my 1990 SE?

I know the horn button won't Work, but apart from that, is it a straight swap?

Or do I need another boss, for example?

I only know what I've read at this point, but someone said that the addition of power steering (93.5 model year?) changed the steering column to a one with a smaller diameter shaft.  If they are correct, the swap would not be possible.

 

I plan on removing my steering wheel this weekend and will measure the shaft if successful.   (If the air bag doesn't get me!)
